CO3 README.TXT file May 28, 1998 by Robert I. Carr The CO3 files have been compressed so they all fit on one diskette. This diskette contains the following compressed files, which extract to become the files shown below. To extract a file, place cursor over it with your mouse and double click. It will expand itself to produce the Excel file shown, of the size shown. CO.exe (221 Kb) => CO.xls (685 Kb) COFlag.exe (222 Kb) => COFlag.xls (659 Kb) CO95.exe (167 Kb) => CO95.xls (498 Kb) COFlag95.exe (166 Kb) => COFlag95.xls (481 Kb) If you expand files on the floppy diskette, they will together become too large for the diskette. I recommend you copy the appropriate *.exe file(s) to a directory on your hard disk and then double click on them with the mouse cursor to extract the *.xls file(s). Copyright 1997 Robert I. RICarr Feb 3, 1998: CO and CO95 were updated on Feb 3, 1998 to implement direct calculation of demand and delay for the common situation in which all of a period's demand enters the zone at the same capacity. This produces slightly different answers than before, because it produces different starting points for iterative solutions. RICarr May 28, 1998: CO and CO95 were updated to change the order of calculating decreases in demand and average decreases in demand. This corrected the Visual Basic spreadsheet calculation fault. "Calculate" is replaced by "Compute" in the Traffic Sheet Summary View for clarity. RICarr
